We are using SimpleSAMLAuth for some accounts, and masquerade does not work for those users, though works correctly with local accounts. Same authentication works on D7. What is best way to test where masquerading is failing - on the module or on auth server? thanks!

After more testing I figured out that if am logged in with local account I can masquerade, but if I am logged in via SAML I cannot masquerade regardless of roles or permissions.
