Proposed Mockup

Mockup of v2 Mathshare sidebar on desktop. This shows a profile portrait with the initial A. Underneath is the name Alex C in bold, followed by Teacher, and Signout. The main portion of the sidebar is shown beneath. These options read My Solution Sets, My Created Sets, Example Sets, About Mathshare, Help Center, and Accessibility. My Created Sets is currently active, which is represented by bold, darker font.

The dashboard links should appear below the profile & signout information, as shown in the mockup above.

Since personalization settings are not currently built out, the unused icons in the sidebar should be removed for now.

This includes:

  • the TTS / speaker icon
  • the STT / microphone icon
  • the font size buttons (A-, A+)
  • the contrast buttons (Standard/High/Low Contrast)

Buttons to be Removed

Screen shot of current interfact, including TTS, STT, font size buttons, and three contrast options.

Acceptance criteria:

Given that I'm a user who is on a screen wide enough to view the sidebar, I should encounter the page links beneath the profile and signout information.
