Choose Stable Diffusion Model (1.5 vs 2.0) for DreamStudio

You can now choose which Stable Diffusion model you'd like to use (1.5 or 2.0) when using DreamStudio.

For Automatic1111, you can still do this manually within your local installation. Hopefully API support for this will be added soon, so AI Render will be able to support this as well!

AI Render v0.6.2

Stable Horde Support

You can now use Stable Horde as your Stable Diffusion backend. It's a community-run service that is completely free. Choose "Stable Horde" in the AI Render add-on preferences to get started, or visit https://stablehorde.net/ to get an optional API Key.

Negative Prompts

When using Automatic1111 as your backend, you can now include a Negative Prompt. This is especially important for some artists' workflows. See https://getimg.ai/guides/guide-to-negative-prompts-in-stable-diffusion as an example.

You can also animate or batch negative prompts by checking "Use Animated Prompts" under "Animation" in the AI Render panel.

Larger Image Sizes with DreamStudio

Using Stability AI's new API behind the scenes, you are now able to render images up to 1024 x 1024.

AI Render v0.5.3

Animation!

Animation is now fully supported in AI Render. Use all of Blender's animation tools, and render an animated scene with every frame being sent to Stable Diffusion. Or animate Stable Diffusion settings over time, including changing prompt text!

You can also use animation for batch processing - to test out different Stable Diffusion settings or prompts.

More Samplers

DDIM and PLMS samplers were added to DreamStudio, and many more were added to Automatic1111. Thank you to first time contributor @marianobastiUNRN for working on this.

Small Updates

• You can now copy preset text, so you can paste it and edit it, rather than having to use it verbatim. Also useful for animated prompt text.

Fixes a bug that was introduced in the last few hours, with a different response from the Automatic1111 Stable Diffusion Web UI (for local installation).

Local installation support and image autosave

AI Render now supports running Stable Diffusion locally with the Automatic1111 Stable Diffusion Web UI. See the instructions for running Stable Diffusion locally.

Also added in this release is the ability to autosave before and after images. (Before: rendered from Blender; After: generated from Stable Diffusion). Find this in the AI Render panel > Operation.

Adding detection for invalid installation

Just in case the add-on gets installed from a bad zip (like the one Github automatically generates from the Code > Download ZIP button), an invalid installation will now be detected and a warning will be shown with a button to get a valid copy.
