The documentation, for example, the mvdXML, contains essential information for users to grasp MVD.

The MVD overview.md explains from a high level what MVD is. It is assumed in this case, that if the user is satisfied enough with the overview that he would like to consume more information about this, he should not have to open/Download a pdf as the information should be presented through structured webpage(s).
