For Cycle 10 #456
Comments
Can you please provide a detailed summary (with % distribution) of the reasons for the cases to help dev to fix the problems? |
I have noted all the details here: bisq-network/roles#83 |
Thanks, overlooked it before... |
Has this proposal been sent to DAO for voting? |
yes, will resubmit for cycle 10, thanks |
Support team lead review@leo816, this is your first compensation request as a mediator, even though you've been doing the work for quite some time now. There is no problem with that, but I want to make it clear here that the 165 mediation cases you mention you've handled are since the beginning of your time as a mediator. Also, the 165 cases number was accurate as of your original submission on January 4th, for Cycle 9, but since that submission wasn't made in time, you are submitting that number again here, for Cycle 10. I assume there have been more cases in the meantime, and would ask that you account for them here in this issue, so that further compensation requests can be up-to-date and accurate for the current cycle. Your 50 BSQ / mediation case rate is reasonable given that the DAO has accepted this rate in previous mediator compensation requests. However, because there are multiple cycles worth of cases in this request, the total BSQ amount requested (8250) is quite high with regard to the overall support budget of 15000 BSQ and risks breaking it. For this reason, I ask that you split up this request, requesting half of the amount now, for Cycle 10, and defer requesting the other half until Cycle 11 (plus whatever extra you will request for work performed during Cycle 11). So, @leo816, if you're OK with these changes, please make them, including creating a [WIP] For Cycle 11 compensation request for the deferred half of cases. Please add a comment here when you're done, indicating that I can give this a final review. Thanks. Process noteFinally—and this a note to @bisq-network/compensation-maintainers as well—when a compensation request is rejected because it was submitted too late (as was the case here in Cycle 9), I think it's probably better to have contributors create a new compensation request rather than just change the title (as was done here). This leaves a clearer "paper trail" as to what happened in each cycle, and reduces the burden on reviewers, who otherwise have to dig through and understand the history of a compensation request like this one. |
done, will create the WIP later today for cycle 11 (for approximately the same BSQ) |
Thanks, @leo816. Please go ahead with submitting this as a DAO proposal and paste the txid here as a comment when complete. |

There's a "leo" proposal with tx ÏD 88fe7b8635e8be4a89c15c3eff56316fda4ad7eb180bf62e03bbe82e85effcfb requesting 8250 BSQ. I'll accept only the quotated one, ending in e446 and requesting 4100 BSQ. |
that is correct, thank you |
will make sure I don't make such mistake in the future. thank you! |
