We currently lack a detailed 'About' page that explains the origin and purpose of the Bitcoin Transcripts project. This issue proposes the creation of an enhanced 'About' page to share the inspiring story of how our project began and what drives it.

Key points to include:

  • The inception of Bitcoin Transcripts can be traced back to the efforts of Bryan Bishop (aka kanzure), who manually transcribed over 700 talks/presentations/discussions, laying the foundation for this project.
  • The significance of these transcripts and the reason behind dedicating such effort to document Bitcoin's history should be clearly articulated, providing visitors with insight into the project's purpose and value.
  • For the design and structure of the 'About' page, we could draw inspiration from the layout and tone of the founder's letter found on once.com.

This page will not only serve as a tribute to the project's beginnings but also as an informative piece that explains why we continue this work and the impact we hope to achieve.
