The raspiblitz team is considering removing this project here permanently. That would be a great pity.

Not removing entirely.

It is planned to keep the installation script for advanced users.

Hi thanks for reporting. That's a very legitimate thought given the activity of development. I would say currently it's in maintenance only mode, because I had to deal with other projects during the last year. I'm using it personally every day and for me it is still quite useful and stable. @openoms and @rootzoll, if raspiblitz users have problems with the tool, feel free to send them over. I could understand if lndmanage would be somewhat pushed away from the standard user in raspiblitz or removed entirely.
That being said, I expect to get get back to the project during the next months and I have already some features in mind:

  • batch opening of channels (using lnd internal wallet - work on that is already in a late state, needs polishing and some more testing)
  • a watcher daemon that collects data (payment forwarding) and channel open handling, see lndmanaged: implement lndmanage daemon #84

I will soon release a maintenance version for lnd v0.12.1. This was not necessary so far as the grpc of lnd is backwards compatible to v0.11.

Thank you will keep an eye the development and will also listen to any user feedback.

The decision of removing from the GUI is certainly not permanent and PRs are welcome if the devs fall behind.
