Steps To Reproduce

  1. Go to 'the browser extension and attempt to search or filter for a known item in the vault. It might not return any result'. It does not find any secure note item and fail to find some login item.

I have attached a video demo showcasing how it currently works on my browser

Expected Result

It should match and show items that has the input term in the name

Actual Result

It doesn't find some secure notes item and fails to find some login items when searching using the search bar in the browser extension

FYI, the search function does not start searching until you enter at least two characters, so the behavior when you enter just "p" is expected. The behavior when you enter "pexel" is not expected. However, I personally cannot reproduce it in a Chrome browser extension (2025.1.2) on a Windows 11 system.

I would suggest updating your browser extension, or even better, uninstall the browser extension and then do a clean install of the latest version.

Could not replicate in 2025.1.0 did see this in 2025.1.1, appears fixed in 2025.1.2.

OP, on brave://extensions/ you can hit the Developer Mode checkbox and force update, to verify.

EDIT: Correction - This behavior does persist in 2025.1.2. It appears new entries cannot be found, however restarting the browser or extension (such as through an update) the entry can be found.
