I would appreciate it if you made this compatible with New Super Mario Bros. Wii!
I use custom motion controls using Joy-Cons so that I can play the game without my hands but I want the inputs to display as a normal controller, but that's not really important. I do the same thing using handless controls on Super Mario 64 Virtual Console and M'Overlay works perfect for that!
However New Super Mario Bros. Wii also has motion control inputs: shaking and tilt controls which probably wouldn't work for a gamecube controller overlay. It's not super important to incorporate motion input display, but if I was to suggest something, maybe you could make the C-stick display the tilt controls and one of the unused buttons to display when a shake happens.
OR (this is a long shot) I do have a suggestion for an entirely new look that would display a sideways Wiimote for NSMBW which would be even better. I understand that would be a bunch of extra work, but I promise you it will be used a lot and seen by lots of people. I have attached a concept photo for this if you're interested.
