Describe the problem you are having

Hi all, I am new to frigate, and am trying to set up the docker compose and config files. The issue I am having is that, when I set the ffmpeg hwaccel args to the preset vaapi, the camera feed doesn't work. When setting to auto, or removing the args entirely, it works on cpu. How can I use either my laptop's intel Xe graphics or nvidia 4060, and what modifications do I have to make to the docker compose and config files to make it happen?

Also, what object detector would I use here? Openvino/tensorrt, etc?

Thanks in advance for any assistance, I am very new to this type of software!

For intel, will depend which device the integrated graphics are bound to

that means something is likely not setup correctly on the host

just looked at it again, I completely missed the Nvidia container toolkit step. But, it seems that this toolkit is only for linux? So how would it be used on windows?

if you want to run in windows you have to use wsl2

I suppose it would be easier to use the igpu? However, I am having issues setting that up as well. Is there somethign specific for the igpu in the docker compose file? the docs show the changes needed for the config, but not the compose file

The docs show that you need /dev/dri mapped into the compose. In most cases this is renderD128 although in some cases this is renderD129. However, in any case this requires linux, as docker in windows does not support device passthrough
