thanks a lot for such nice app. the options TUI looks suuper awesome.

  • there are lots of situations and formal positions where the typing practice for longer sessions (10-30 mins) is required, like in clerk, assistants, courtrooms, & reporting.
  • as typioca already offer the terminal control to be any of timer (15s-2m), word (10-100), sentence (1-30),
  • i propose to offer options with lot higher upper limits to cater to those long practice sessions.

so like:

  • time: 5m, 10m, 15m, 30m
  • word: 250, 500, 750, 1500
$ typioca --version
typioca  3.0.0

Since due to the nature of TUI, one would have to scroll a long list to find their preferred time. So maybe we can make this configurable? I'll give this more thought, thanks!

  1. an alternate solution can be to skip cluttering the presets, and provide a custom field to take user input.

    this might be problematic if there's no facility to straight up eat the non numeric input.

  2. other solution can be to divide into modes, like: short (eq. to sub-minute), medium (eq. sub 10 min), long (eq. > 10 mins)
