Steps to Reproduce

  1. Enable 2FA support on the account.
  2. Log out and then sign in (or wait for something to trigger a sign in request).
  3. Input your username and password. You should now be prompted for a confirmation code via email.
  4. Return to the iPad springboard and access any other app. In this case, Apple’s Mail app to copy the 2FA confirmation code.
  5. Switch back to Safari. The sign in screen has now reset, requesting username and password, as well as a new confirmation code after attempting to sign in.

This is really annoying. I can suggest one thing as a workaround which is to open Mail in Slide Over so that you can copy the code without switching out of Safari.
