Steps to Reproduce

  1. Make sure the app is configured to handle https://bsky.app/... links
  2. Make sure the app isn't running. If it is, close it.
  3. Tap on a bsky.app link to a post in your browser.

The app will open, but show the home screen/feed, not the linked post.

What platform(s) does this occur on?

Android

Device Info

Pixel 7a, Android 15

What version of the app are you using?

1.96.2.542 d38e985 (prod)

Additional Information

May happen in iOS too, not sure. It's been happening for a long time, I've just been lazy and haven't reported it before now.

Thanks for building and maintaining the app, it's great!

@Plevien wait, what? We may be talking about different things. If I click on a link to https://bsky.app/profile/snarfed.org or https://bsky.app/profile/snarfed.org/post/3lfbb75xvl22s in a desktop web browser, it correctly opens that profile or post. This bug is that if I click on them on mobile (at least Android), and the native app isn't already running, the native app opens but shows the home screen, not the post/profile.
