We ran into problems ourselves dealing with large files on GDrive, which is why we ended up using this system.
In trying to debug this, we just tested the download offsite (non-Brown) from a different city in the US and it worked.
A couple of questions:
The message describes a failure to authenticate - did your Globus account creation seem to work?
Where are you geographically?
You can also try to email [email protected] and explain the situation, and they might be able to help. Please provide as much detail as possible.
