We have some docs at https://canonical-charmed-openstack-upgrader.readthedocs-hosted.com/en/stable/how-to/upgrade-cloud/ for how to upgrade, but it's more of a reference collection. Ideally it would be good to add a full tutorial doc for upgrading a production cloud, including guidance on:

  • steps (no bare cou upgrade; it will all be in stages)
  • advice for upgrading hypervisors (including moving all VMs off a hypervisor, upgrading that, repeat with others)
  • etc.
