On https://canonical-microcloud.readthedocs-hosted.com/en/v2-edge/microcloud/explanation/microcloud/, if you click on the OVN network link, you are sent to https://canonical-microcloud.readthedocs-hosted.com/en/latest/lxd/reference/network_ovn/#network-ovn.

There is a similar issue if on https://canonical-microcloud.readthedocs-hosted.com/en/v2-edge/microcloud/tutorial/get_started/#access-the-ui you click the How to access the LXD web UI link, you are sent to https://canonical-microcloud.readthedocs-hosted.com/en/latest/lxd/howto/access_ui/#access-ui.

A quick glance at the doc makes me think it could be due to those links pointing to LXD docs with the {ref}lxd: syntax.

Nice observation!
Probably related to the hardcoding in https://github.com/canonical/microcloud/blob/main/doc/custom_conf.py#L229. IIRC the {ref}lxd: is the intersphinx mapping. Wonder if we can grab the version during the build process to modify this string.
