Hydration error occurs when rendering Endnote with Supplement

For some reason, rendering an Endnote component as a child of Supplement triggers a React hydration error in production environments only. The most likely culprit appears to be invalid DOM nesting, but the DOM structure mirrors what occurs when rendering Endnotes within Articles or Commentarys.

For now we've used this basic workaround a couple of times:
