Reason for non-standard release naming?

Currently you use:

• apple-darwin
• pc-windows-msvc
• unknown-linux-musl

For your asset names in a release. Why is that? Is that some other convention than the more common uname one? It makes it harder to automate the download of a specific release (without relying on the script you provide) 😕
