Scoping Analysis

Perform a brief analysis of temperature and precipitation trends and correlations for the purpose of scoping data cleaning requirements. This analysis is NOT for the purpose of achieving high-accuracy insights (that is the anticipated role of the Stanford interns). Scoping concerns include:

• Identifying the limits of the time range of historical data (how far back can the analysis reasonably extend?)
• Uncovering as-yet-unknown data quality issues. These issues will be mitigated prior to the arrival of Stanford interns in mid-June and will be subject to the do-not-exceed budget of the contract.
