Overview

What is the problem we're solving? For very simple items, this can be encapsulated in the success criteria.

After merging #15 and running through it once, we learned about a lot of broken things. Let's fix them!

1. High-level challenge for all data formats - where is the freaking table? -- do we want to add something about strutured/semi-structured into episode 1?
2. Hammer in JSON = dict w/ string and numbers and bools. List of dict, dict of lists, dict of dict or list of lists -- a table! Trying to find the table. - could still use some help, but attempted.
3. Move context mgr and json.load before pd.read_json - now we have a dictionary! This is a record format of data - each row is one record.
4. Add a challenge before json_normalize that's basically just "find the table" once you've loaded the data. - added, but not sure if this works.
5. Drop sample and read_json() and just go from json.load -> pd.json_normalize
6. Do we want to cover dictionary.keys() as part of making this easier to look at?
7. Drop the warnings part of XML
8. Parquet - same as excel, can't peek into it and see it, but optimized for a software to read
9. Parquet - cut all the columnar data store stuff, link to some other resource with more info.
10. XML - tags can have attributes - can attach lots of metadata to a specific data point.
11. Move everything after the first sentence of XML intro para to after the json/xml side by side
12. <plantCode> 243 </plantCode> shouldn't have spaces
13. from and to in the xml/json example are switched
14. xml data/rows example has un-closed data tag
15. Add absolute and relative file path at top of lesson
16. Parquet file - drop indices on save when subsetting
