Briefly describe the dataset. What is it, and why do we want to archive it regularly?
NEMS is the modeling tool which is used to produce the Annual Energy Outlook. Main AEO page here. The NEMS model is complex and interesting, but the input data used for NEMS is useful in it's own right. The scope of the archive is not to archive the whole NEMS model, but rather just the input data. EIA semi-recently open-sourced its NEMS code and input files (older versions of NEMS required a key to open the zipped data files). For PUDL, the most valuable input (i believe) would be this plants file but we should probably archive all of the input data.
