Mining Turtle quarry code

To start things of i know that there is a code for the miner already in the game that can do quarry mining, but on my server it doesn't really work. I don't know why but whenever i start it it looks fine but then turns back and digs in directions it wants to.
Nontheless, i wanted to ask if anyone has a good optimized code for the miner that would do quarry with specified lenght and width, would go back to the surface to refuel drop off items and such. And it would need to be good optimized, the current code i'm using constntly checks the border of the chunk which slows it down.

I've not used it for a few years now, but civilwargeeky's quarry is the one I always used to go for. I think there's a slightly more up-to-date version on GitHub, which should work on more recent versions of the game
