I like the idea of integrating data from slack into some more archival solution. I figured maybe a slackbot that would allow someone to tag a thread and that thread gets copied out to an external system.

Let's continue discussion on this thread. We can then identify a solution and find members in the community to help implement.

I really like that idea. Are you thinking about something off the shelf or some custom built solution? Would the "external system" be read only?

I assumed the external system would be readonly. I usually prefer buying over building. Got something in mind?

Seems cool and about what I was thinking. Sure would be nice if we could build something serverless that was cheaper than $50/month.
