Firsly, sorry if this issue is not at the right place, as it's not properly an issue with FiveM/RedM on theirselves.
Hello, I have noticed that the users.cfx.re hostnames sometimes starts with a dash (example: "-prime-rp-8jkqj3.users.cfx.re", sorry for them). According to the RFC 1035 standards, domain names should not begin with a special character. This non-conformity led in my case to inconsistent DNS resolution across different OS. While all of them understand domains starting with a number, only macOS was able to resolve it (the dash domain) without tweaking around.
Thank you for reading this.
Expected result
DNS should resolve on all platforms
Reproduction steps
I would like to gave you but I can't get dig/nslookup working with that dash.
curl "https://-prime-rp-8jkqj3.users.cfx.re"
Importancy
Slight inconvenience
Area(s)
FiveM, RedM
Specific version(s)
Windows/Linux (Debian, Ubuntu)
Additional information
