-Mapathon - Missing Maps
-Design - Social Media banner contest
-Data - What kind of projects would be fun/easy for data people to jump into?
-Open Data Policy Report - Find out if cities have open data portals. Have accessible data. Ease of inquiring data. Citizen labs could have its own Open Data Portal / Annual Report Card for cities

Encouraging commitment
-After contribution on GitHub (5-10 contributions) your a "Citizen Scientist"
-After 50 contributions your a "Mad Scientist"
-Get a welcome packet in a beaker

Note to self: This is what I want to be focusing on this week. Adding issues on Github for projects and building some stuff out on social media.

I created template-repo with an outline Readme document. I also added all the labels from Read First repo into this repo. Hoping they get pulled along when it is cloned, I am testing this now.

I am using template-repo to create a repo for the Open Data Policy Report project.

@BrandonKlotz Maybe we should create a repository for each of the these labs? Even if the repository is just a README it would give us a place to store the description in a community-editable format and track issues separately.
