AI-Driven Personalized Learning Pathways for Effective Onboarding

Objective: Develop an AI-powered system that analyzes existing project data within the company to craft unique, adaptive learning pathways for new hires. The goal is to streamline the onboarding process, ensuring that each recruit is well-acquainted with the company's projects, culture, and expectations, and is ready to contribute effectively from the start.

Key Components of the Challenge:

Data Analysis and Integration: Create algorithms to analyze existing company SOP's and project data, including meeting notes, company profile, team structures and project goals to form a comprehensive database for the AI to utilize.

Personalization Engine: Develop an AI model that identifies key skills, knowledge areas, and cultural aspects relevant to each role. Design the system to tailor the learning pathway based on the new hire’s background and role.

User Interface and Experience: Design an intuitive and user-friendly interface for new hires to interact with their personalized learning pathway.

Data: The data will be provided at the beginning of the hackathon.

Deliverables:

  • A working prototype of the AI-driven personalized learning pathway system.
  • A presentation demonstrating the system's architecture, functionality, and impact on the onboarding process.

Judging Criteria:

  • Innovation and effectiveness of the AI model in personalizing learning pathways.
  • Quality and user-friendliness of the interface.
  • Integration and insightful use of existing project data.
  • Demonstrated impact on improving the onboarding experience for new hires.

This challenge invites participants to blend AI, data analysis, user experience design, and educational theory to revolutionize the way companies onboard their new employees.
