When I was looking for an example of a Material toggle to mimic, I came across this post that has lots of little ideas that I may get around to implementing.
Listing them here so I don't forget.
Toggle centered I/O labels. (For full words like 'ON'/'OFF') (Also, optional offsets?)
On-knob labels. (Like A11y labels, but for instance for a check/x on top of the knob.)
Image-based frame? (e.g.: Day/Night mode)
Image-based knob / knob glyph? (Eg: Sun/Moon)
Drop shadows? Knob/Frame?
Toggle + Label frame (To strongly associate the toggle with the label.)
Animation easing?
Knob inset for on/off, as well as animating between.
I also want to have a small pack of "ready to go" styles for users to easily hit something they're looking for without too much effort, like the ones displayed on that page.
