Hello,

While using relight to create RTI with an image set, I noticed that all the algorithms give outputs that look desaturated when compared to the original image set.
This desaturation level ranges from almost black and white in some cases, to slightly (but noticeably) desaturated based on which algorithm is used.

For example, I have attached a cropped close-up of one of the images I am working with and the reconstruction made using relight-cli with 2 separate algorithms.

  1. Input Image
    test-original

  2. RTI at same angle - BLN
    test-bln

  3. RTI at same angle - YRBF
    test-yrbf

Is this a known issue? Is something I am doing causing this? I am using jpg images.

Thank you!

Hi, never experienced something like this.
Could you share the original dataset so I can properly investigate the issue?

Hello, I am not sure I have permission to share the dataset.
I can ask and get back to you.

Although, I can answer any specific questions you may have about the dataset if that helps in any way.

Thanks
