It would be nice if the meta tag thumbnail <meta name="thumbnail" content="https://www...."> is not filled in automatically. Here I would like to store a different graphic with 100x100 pixels (https://support.google.com/programmable-search/answer/1626955?hl=de) especially for Google.

You could provide a PR that lets you set an optional different image size for the thumbnail meta tag. Or do you mean you want to use a different source file entirely?
