Cancel button does nothing

Environment

- OS: MacOS
- Sidecar commit: (downloaded yesterday)
- IDE commit: (downloaded yesterday)

Description

When the AI is "THINKING..." for a very long time, and nothing is happening, I click the CANCEL button, which apparently does NOTHING.

It just continues "THINKING" forever until I close the app.

Reproduction

Click the cancel button while the AI is thinking.

Log output

I looked through the log dirs but I couldn't find anything relevant...
What should I be looking for?
