After Adding Related Item, Object Editor Shows Wrong Type

In the dev/php8 branch object editor, upon saving a related object relationship, the "Editing" text above the object title in the left sidebar shows the related object's type instead of the current object's type.

I've just noticed it's not only the wrong type. Immediately after adding an object relationship, the object editor shows the wrong CA identifier in the upper left corner. It's showing the identifier of the related object. The problem goes away after switching screens in the editor.
