Checklist

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe

In order to get engaged with our blog readers, I think a newsletter form can be natively supported.

Describe the solution you'd like

I am not familiar with web design best practices. I am not sure where this form can be displayed, but I absolutely know that can be a very important feature.

Describe alternatives you've considered

I don't have any alternatives at the moment.

Additional context

If this feature is considered a "feature creep", please let me know what could be the alternatives.

This would be a really useful feature to have. Looking forward for someone to contribute.

Hello, not sure if this is being worked upon by anyone. If not, I would like to volunteer.

I had created a simple custom newsletter for my blog (which is forked from chirpy) earlier, and wrote an article on how to do it. This might be helpful for those looking for it.

I think I can maybe work on something generic to incorporate it natively.

Hi @viv1 !

I'm using the chirpy template for building my website and I'm struggling exactly with the same problem. I want to implement a newsletter for my personal website and after trying different solutions on the internet I simply could not make it. I noticed your solution is focused on Linux users. Unfortunately the computer I'm using now it uses windows. I would like to know your advice in order to implement your ideas on my case.

In any case, since I really want to improve my website, I am open to pay for a developer in order to implement such newsletter system in my webpage. If you are interested in this offer please send me an email to [email protected]

Thanks in advance for your time,
Amahury

Hi @amahury , I believe the instructions in my blog can be translated to work for windows as well with some effort. Let me connect with you over email.
