Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe

Hi Cotes2020 Team,

I hope you’re doing well.

I have read your guide on suggesting new features and understand that feature requests should align with core functionality and avoid feature creep. With that in mind, I would like to request RTL (right-to-left) support for the Chirpy theme.

Feature Request: RTL Support

Description:
The Chirpy theme currently does not fully support RTL languages, such as Arabic, Hebrew, and others. Adding RTL support, especially for posts, would enhance accessibility and usability for users who read and write in RTL languages.

Benefits:

  • Enhanced Accessibility: Provides a better experience for users with RTL language needs.
  • Broader Usability: Expands the theme’s reach to a more diverse audience.
  • Internationalization: Aligns with best practices for global applications.

Suggestions:

  • _config.yml Adjustments:
    1. Auto Detection: Implement auto-detection of text direction based on the language specified in the posts.
    2. Manual Direction Setting: Allow users to specify text direction in addition to the language settings.

If implementing RTL support across the entire theme is considered to be feature creep, I would like to propose focusing on RTL support specifically for posts. This targeted approach could address the needs of RTL language users without impacting the overall theme design.

I do not have frontend development skills, so I am unable to contribute to the implementation. However, I appreciate your consideration of this request and look forward to any feedback or updates you might have.

Thank you!

Best regards,
Idan Hazan.

Describe the solution you'd like

I would like the Chirpy theme to support right-to-left (RTL) languages, allowing users to properly display and align content for RTL scripts such as Arabic and Hebrew. This support should be applied specifically to posts.
