This isn't hiding the navigation bar, its switching to full screen mode :(

Ah I thought this plugin would solve my problem but alas, no. This doesn't really hide the navigationbar per-se, it's really just switching to fullscreen mode. The problem with fullscreen mode is that the keyboard now overlays ontop of the content instead of shifting the content up to display the keyboard. So my content is hidden under the keyboard while entering data.

I guess I could switch off the fullscreen mode when I enter keyboard mode but meh. Why is Android 9 & 10 now allowing me to change the stinking color of the navigation bar background!! A bright white/grey navigation bar looks like CRAP in my APP!
