Color Mode button does not render correctly on certain platforms

Describe the bug
The custom-rendered Color Mode button (e.g., green screen) is offset by a few pixels on certain platforms/browsers.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Launch app on Windows (any browser)
2. Notice weird rendering on Color Mode button

Expected behavior
The button rendering should be consistent (i.e. no weird padding/offsets) across all platforms and browsers.
