Describe the bug
Variables in the default save path are not working on folder level

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to PDF SETTINGS
  2. Click on VARIABLES (blue text, i have polish version of the program so i wot get exact name)
  3. When i type: <PATH_THAT_WORKS>$(YYYY)$(MM)$(DD)\file$(nnnn).pdf
  4. The PDF File saves as file0001.pdf in windows default menu, but for some reason
  5. When i type: <PATH_THAT_WORKS>\file$(nnnn).pdf
  6. It is saved to the <PATH_THAT_WORKS> correctly with a name file0001.pdf

Expected behavior
Variables should work also for folder names

Desktop:

  • OS: Windows11

Additional context
I have script that creates folders for every day of the year in format YYYY/MM/DD - i want to save pdfs here
I'm also using network location, but it works without variables in folder path
