creating Multi TTS book with Daisy Pipeline (app version 1.6) #803

I want to create a full text full audio book using TTS where two different characters should use two different voices.

as per my understanding it is possible to create such book using Daisy Pipeline but not sure how to achieve it. scripts I have explored DTBook to DAISY 3 (TTS Enhanced)
can someone guide me step by step process along with some sample xml file and configuration file

Yes, that is possible! I will try to guide you through the process of using DTBook to DAISY 3 to do this. We will have to use CSS, notably the voice-family property. You can find a bit of documentation about the voice-family property and other CSS configuration here.

I don't know how much you already know about DAISY Pipeline, so please don't hesitate to ask more clarifications about a step if it is not immediately clear!

Attached is a two-page document containing two chess games and their descriptions. While the book itself and the game moves can maintain a single TTS, the move descriptions need to be in a different TTS. In the attached document, descriptions are marked with [ ]. Some moves require multi-level descriptions, where the main description is within { } and subsequent levels are within ( ).
