Sequoia 15.0 Clean install possible?

I would like to share my experience with you.
So it's been a few days that I'm trying to do a clean install of Sequoia on this Xiaomi Notebook Pro, but I have an error When I boot on the key, the boot advances until the moment of displaying the first window of Sequoia install. And there the pc restarts.
I activated the debucking mode, and in the generated txt file, I have this inside (an idea?) :

@aka210 Hi, thank you for testing this on Sequoia. The latest release 1.8.3 does NOT support Sequoia. I haven't released Sequoia EFI because there're multiple drivers are not compatible with the new version. To be more specific, I am watching acidanthera/bugtracker#2423, acidanthera/BrcmPatchRAM#33, OpenIntelWireless/itlwm#983, acidanthera/bugtracker#2426, and acidanthera/bugtracker#2431

For now, I don't feel comfortable to release new EFI for Sequoia due to these concerns. You can take your own risk by upgrading kexts and getting the Sequoia installed.

@stevezhengshiqi Hi, I've been trying to update to Sequoia on my Xiaomi 1701 by all means available (through appstore, downloading the installer, creating a USB...), even installing on a separate partition... but no luck at all. When I launch the installer from MacOS, it does the first part of the update, but when it restarts the first time and I click on SequoiaInstall option on picker, it keeps restarting forever. When I use the USB, it doesn't even start the installer, it keeps restarting.
I tried updating all my kexts, but the ones I tried (all stable oficial releases) didn't change the behaviour.
I still have a blank partition if you want I could test stuff on there, but I wouldn't know what kexts are valid or not or which to update, since my own research didn't find the correct ones apparenty...
Also I swapped my original NVME for a Samsung 970 Evo Pro and left the original in the second slot, but I didn't notice any improvements in speed, I think. Should i get improvement???

@franzasensi Hi, could you try the latest beta EFI in the Artifacts section of https://github.com/daliansky/XiaoMi-Pro-Hackintosh/actions/runs/10646444609? It should have all the updated drivers. Make sure you replace the EFI completely (delete and then paste).
For your boot loop, I recommend checking the config, especially SecureBootModel. It should be Disabled. You can also try DmgLoading to Any.

@stevezhengshiqi I just tried the beta EFI but still same thing... If I boot from USB installer and paste new beta EFI to the USB EFI partition (or use mine, for that matter) it restarts at about 10% of loading bar in Apple logo screen. I changed DmgLoading to "any" and have SecureBoot "disabled". And if I use Sequoia installer from MacOS, it allows me to do the first part of installation but upen restart and select "MacOS Installer" on picker, it restarts at about 25% loading on Apple logo screen. So same as before...
I just can't understand why it doesn't let me install Sequoia when my Sonoma install works perfect...

If you could have a look to my config.plist?? Then I'll be glad to beta test anything provided I am able to... I am not a developer or expert but have some experience with Hackintosh, and have a blank partition waiting to test.

Let me know if you find something incorrect on my config.plist

Yeah I will, thanks for your comment. I already had secureboot disabled since 14.4, but will try the dmgloading to any and see. I don't know how I did that, or how to specify kernel version... guess it's not difficult?
I just tried the new EFI (I usually copy and merge everything except my personalised config.plist) and laptop wouldn´t boot until I deleted all airportitlwm.kext(s) except the custom one I normally use. So I did and I can boot normally now. Regarding Sequoia, I still have the same problem, maybe I should specify the Airportiltwm.kext kernel version on config.plist so it doesn't load when booting Sequoia? Would you kindly care to explain how to do this?
My situation is as follows: I have Sonoma 14.7 on my main partition which I don't want to mess with until I have everytihng sorted out and I am sure it works. Then I have a partition with 60+GB to do tests, but still haven't been able to run Sequoia on it, having the problem stated above even with new EFI. Both partitions are in the same disk, so the EFI partition is "shared".
What approach should I take? I haven't had luck booting with a Sequoia install USB either...
And I still don't know what is causing the bootloop when I try to update... can it be that unespecified kernel version thingy???

In your case, you probably need to set MaxKernel as 23.9.9 (Sonoma max version 14.X.X) and MinKernel as 23.4.0 (Sonoma 14.4)

Did you try reset NVRAM by the way?

Hi, I tried remaking the USB installer after I remapped USB ports (just in case there was a problem wih that), copied the EFI 1.8.4 AS IS into the USB EFI folder, tried to install but still had the bootloop.
Then I changed DmgLoading to "any" but still same result.
I reset NVRAM several times, before trying to boot from USB, in between tries, etc... but still had bootloop.
I should mention that when I reset NVRAM now and in the past, often but not always, the (usual, on main SSD, not the USB one) OpenCore entry on picker dissapeared, and had to use BOOTICE on Windows to re-add that entry via mounting the EFI partition on diskpart, to be able to boot into MacOS.
I also tried enabling and disabling "Secure Boot" option on BIOS but made no difference.
I really am at a loss here, and really don't know what to do anymore.
Jus to add some info, I do have dual boot in the same disk, but th EFI partition is not at the beginning of the disk, although that shouldn't make a difference, and even less when booting from USB.
What could cause the boot loop when booting from USB?? The EFI folder is the 1.8.4 from here and the installer has been created from MacOS following the Dortania guide, it's recognized as it should. It just won't load the installer, keeps rebooting. Have you achieved upgrading to Sequoia? would you mind sharing your BIOS settings and EFI folder/config.plist? Again, thanks for yout time!

Hi, thank you for conducting the test, and I can feel the confusing moment when the thing does not work.

Due to that my setup has broken for a while, I have not installed Sequoia yet. Based on the reports from other users, people would have to disable Intel Bluetooth driver and Intel WiFi driver before performing the upgrade. I don't have much clue if that still does not work.

Ok, will try that, deleting all airportitlwm.kext and bluetooth kexts from EFI and config.plist before trying to upgrade.

YES! Finally I was able to upgrade to Sequoia, everything working, WIFI works via itlwm.kext + Heliport, bluetooth works, etc. THANK YOU VERY MUCH
