application not working in Fedora 41

The Das Keyboard Q application doesn't detect 5QS in Fedora 41

I had the same issue but I got it working in my Fedora 41 after creating the group "plugdev" and adding my user.
The udev rules in /etc/udev/rules.d/99-daskeyboard.rules shows that all permissions are being granted to the plugdev group but Fedora does not have this group by default

So try to

sudo groupadd plugdev
sudo usermod -aG plugdev $USER

and restart your session
