If you choose to use the "embedded courseindex" as tab view mode and leave the edit mode (in case you were using it), the course will be unusable, because of a scroll issue:

As soon as you try to scroll the scroll handler of the courseindex will try to scroll the page to focus the currently selected element/section. In the embedded mode the course index however will not be sticky on the page (as it is intended), so this leads to the fact that you cannot scroll in the course at all.

Hi @PhMemmel

That's true. When the menu is very long it is a problem because the scrolling is blocked. I haven't found an elegant way to adjust it. For now I don't see that the courseindex library has been extended or something that allows me to correct the blocking. If an alternative appears later I will implement it, otherwise I may remove this display method.

We removed the option in our Moodle instance. I guess it's OK to remove it, there are so many beautiful options in onetopic to use for our teachers 🙂
