Hello!

Since some Days I get this message from Milkyway@home:

Milkyway@home: Notice from BOINC This project seems to have changed its URL. When convenient, remove the project, then add http://milkyway-new.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/
I can't remove Milkyway in BOINC because it's pushed from SU. So how can this be fixed? At first I thought that some kind of update from SU will remove and add it correctly, but that didn't happen. Now my ready workunits are lost because they can't be uploaded anymore.

Thanks in Advance!

Milkyway@home inappropriately changed their project URL.
I'm trying to contact them to change it back.

Thank you for looking into it.

I have the same issue, FYI.
I was able to "exclude" the milkyway project from the SU website, but I don't know what that does exactly. I still can't remove it from BOINC, even after synchronizing BOINC with SU.

If you leave it there;you'll keep computing for MW@h.
You'll get that (harmless) warning message until MW@h fixes their URL
(I've tried to contact them, unsuccessfully so far)

I get that message on a new install (I was running MW@H on a different computer that died 8 months ago and just replaced it) and since the URL is incorrect, It is not downloading any work from them (I am guessing that is the reason).

My other projects are working fine though.
I will take it out of "exclude" mode and wait, but shouldn't it be possible to remove a project that is not working, even if the project changes something that breaks functionality?

Thanks for the reply!

I may remove it from the Science United list if they don't fix the problem soon.
