@raynamharris - Great! A small group of us from NIH, Copper (well, you), Phosphorus, and Helium are intending to present an "as-is" of the whitelist process, since this has been somewhat blackbox. (Apologies for the overly-colorful parlance..) Unfortunately, most of us won't be there in person, so we're hoping to be able to present this remotely.

We also want to share some ideas of how we hope to improve the process in Phase 1, get feedback and addition ideas from others, and also start to discuss what a more transparent and sustainable Phase 2 implementation might look like.

The Virtual Directory Service (VDS) topic is another one that was proposed as a possible breakout. However, it may be good to discuss separately, if only because it's a different group involved. (Of course, these topics are all related - including discussion from Cathy and Alastair on consents, ethics, and security (#8).)
