Using the solar+wind estimates, and considering a lithium-ion ESS, create a load-leveling plan that minimizes demand charges and verify economic feasibility.

We can also consider a battery option. Here according to NREL, if demand charge is above $15 in the US, battery option is economical to apply to the system in general. Unfortunately, I can't see the case of Alaska in the analysis though.
