quicksurvey treatment of multiple targets

Some targets have multiple bits set in the targeting catalogs (e.g. ELG+QSO or LRG+BGS). Can quicksurvey handle a truth.fits where these multiple targets have one target bit or the other set (e.g. an ELG+QSO target that is "truly" ELG)? "out of the box" it appears to not treat these cases properly.
