Some of the CCDs are missing their data points on the CCD QA plots (e.g., r1-CD, r4-AB,...). Segev suggested this might be due to missing calibration darks that are raising errors in qproc.

Looking further: this is more serious than I thought as several amps (e.g., r1c and r1d) have been missing readnoise, bias, and cosmic rates since the start of April. If this was raised in the nightlog, I missed it before now. Next steps:

  • Identify cameras and spectrographs with missing QA plots (it looks like amps in r1, r4, r6, r7, z3, z7 are affected)
  • Regenerate the QA files for the affected amps
  • Update Nightwatch so it is visually obvious when data are missing

Luke pointed out that some of the CCDs are now in 2-amp mode, which could be these "missing" data points. The conversion from 4- to 2-amp mode started in April, so the timing appears to coincide with the above comment. Perhaps all that's needed, then, is an update to Nightwatch to switch the ones in 2-amp mode to only have AB options (or something similar).

Of course. Duh!

Rather than change the plots, I'll probably just add a note to the page so that observers (and I) don't get tripped up on this in the future.
