Hello!

We are evaluating dLAN 1200+ WiFi ac for an EV project where we need openwrt support. We found some resources about support, but it seems outdated or not actively maintained. Are there any investigations from devolo to support this product (or any other dlan product) with OpenWRT?

Have a look at issue 3 if this project, there's quite a lot of info there as well as links to a forked project at the bottom. There should be more than enough issue to get OpenWRT working on a dLAN 1200+, I've been running it on tow of these devices for close to 6 months now. In my case, I've built my own images from source with the latest master code, I thought the devices were meant to be supported in 21.02 as well, but I don't see any images for them...

Hi, many thanks for your help. In the meantime I have got one device and can start to test it.

Do you know if it is possible to revert to original firmware if needed?

I haven't tried, but you can probably flash back to the factory firmware via the Openwrt web interface or CLI if you successfully flashed it in the first place. The tftp/recovery method should always work and it's worth having the instructions to hand just in case...
