Twitter handle does not get saved when updating profile

when replacing the default @devoxx text in the field named "twitter handle" with my twitter handle, I have a successful message after clicking update, but when I reload the page, the default @devoxx twitter handle is still in the field

Same problem with the local version.
The PUT request contains the right data, server response contains the same data as sent with a 200 status.

The problem seems to be on the server side with no update in DB.
