Motivation

The javascript code inside our public upload page is a mess. We want to refactor the javascript code.

Proposed Solution

The main goals are:

  • we sort via javascript, it would be better to do the sorting beforehand in our python file
  • there is still some old javascript code, that we no longer need
  • there is some duplicate code that we want to be more sustainably
