Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

There is currently no way of stopping the data flow for an active sensor. This means that it is hard to try out settings for new functions without generating erroneous data in the system.

System or group admins should be able to temporarily disable public consumption of output from sensors and/or functions.

Describe alternatives you've considered
