People,

We are currently working on a new plugins architecture for docker-registry that will let storage options to be expressed as separate pip packages, thus allowing third-party to author and maintain their own storage.

This work in progress currently lives on the "plugins" branch and will get merged in master soon.

Thus I repackaged/reexpressed the elliptics backend.

The repository for it is here:

The package is on pypi as well:

The baby looks fine and healthy (save a broken travis build) but we are looking for someone to adopt it (take over the github repo and pip package) as we currently have too many children to attend and don't feel like we can give him the attention it deserves :-)

If interested, say it here, with a few words on why you feel you will be a good parent to it :-)

Hello!
As Docker Registry is used in our open source PaaS, and Elliptics is being developed in our team, so I'm the best candidate =). Be sure, I'll support it.

Cool! I just updated the urls to reflect the change - you now need to review setup.py to update author/maintainer informations.

Also, what's your pypi account?

@noxiouz you are now the sole father of that little package on pypi :-)

I'm happy to keep commits rights on the git repo though I won't sneak commit but rather PR there (if I need to commit).

Thanks again for taking this over!
